This oil processing company was looking for an exciting workspace with a focus on light and space and with a multitude of green relaxation areas.
The large office building consists of two floor plates in exposed concrete, completely framed by stately columns. These are 7 metres high but only 15 centimetres thick, giving them an elegant look and creating a subtle play of shadows throughout the day. The columns fold around the building like a fan, leaving room for terraces.
The architectural features are extended throughout the site to create a unified entity. From the changing area and bike parking facility to the check-in desk for lorries, each concrete pavilion plays with the same elements such as small awnings and curves.

Dit olieverwerkingsbedrijf zocht een boeiende workspace met een focus op licht en ruimte, en met een veelvoud aan groene ontspanningsplekken.
Het grote kantoorgebouw omvat twee plateaus in zichtbeton, volledig omkaderd door statige kolommen. Deze zijn zeven meter hoog, maar ook slechts vijftien centimeter dik waardoor ze elegant ogen en doorheen de dag een verfijnd schaduwspel creëren. De kolommen plooien als een waaier om het gebouw, en laten ruimte voor terrassen.
De architectuur wordt overal op het terrein doorgetrokken om een eenheid te krijgen. Van de omkleedruimte en de fietsenstalling tot de incheckbalie voor de vrachtwagens, elk betonnen paviljoen speelt met dezelfde elementen zoals de kleine luifels en de rondingen.
